Supervises and coordinates activities of all Elastomeric shift personnel engaged in Prep, Molding and FAA repair to produce high quality products that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Sets the standard of work and behavior with subordinates and area of responsibility through demonstrated words and actions that uphold standards of ethical behavior and conduct.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintain the established assembly schedules; Assign and direct all personnel to achieve product output to meet or exceed customer expectation while maintaining superior quality levels.

Responsible for implementation of all company policies and procedures including safety programs, company culture and engagement.

Manages assigned employees and ensures proper staffing of qualified and trained workers. Performs training and coaching as required; manages training plans, rotates assignments as needed.

Monitors and controls the entire assembly process according to the master production plan. Engages cross functional partners on issues and obstacles to meeting plan.

Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow. Prepares reports, tracks data and metrics.

Ensures quality through managing adherence to process and documented procedures; Collaborates with Mfg. Engineering, Quality and Supply chain for the highest product conformance.


Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned teams. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Experience with ISO quality manufacturing standards, 13485, 9000, 9100 (AS 9100 preferred). EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; B.S. or B.A. preferred. Minimum 3 years progressive supervisory experience in manufacturing or related field or minimum of 5-7 years equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Familiarity with MRP and ERP systems and planning.

  • Strong, people management and team leading skills.
