Key Accountabilities

Delivers prompt, accurate and efficient customer service which meets or exceeds the organization’s standards. Function in a high transactional sales volume environment with heavy focus on fostering, developing and nurturing relationships with customers through personalized contact, understanding of customer’s needs, and ability to communicate solution values of products and services. Be the first point of contact within the sales organization for existing customers when they call ITT Enidine with product questions. Exhibit positive attitude, flexibility, adaptability to every situation in the office, while working as a member of the Inside Sales team.

Qualified applicants must be customer oriented and motivated with excellent written and verbal communication, organization and problem-solving skills; ability to focus on, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines; a strong attention to detail and accuracy; organized and able to follow department processes and work flow. Requires a self-motivated individual with ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member, with enthusiasm to learn and flexibility to change. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of Oracle a plus.

As a member of the Inside Sales team, the incumbent will act as a liaison between customers and various internal departments on product and order related issues. This includes but is not limited to the Purchase Order review, processing of orders, providing pricing and delivery information, answering questions pertaining to shipments, ensuring orders are in accordance with agreed to terms and the handling all other inquiries to ensure that customers receive services that meet or exceed their expectations.

Communicates via inbound and outbound telephone calls with consumers. Provides prompt resolution to customer inquiries by providing appropriate and accurate information. Assists with the implementation of processes, methods and procedures for consistent and efficient on-time delivery including review and response to customer scorecards. Investigates and resolves claims or complaints by collecting and analyzing information. Coordinates with relevant functions on technical and/or quality issues; resolves customer complaints concerning deliveries, invoices or billing discrepancies. Maintains diplomacy and tact when dealing with upset or escalated calls. Proactively anticipates customer needs, recognizes opportunities and refers customers to appropriate staff for product sales or problem resolution. Communicates daily with Outside Sales Managers to maintain a cohesive relationship. Administer customer requirements via customer web portals. Accepts and completes any special projects and assignments that are not principal duties of this position but are in line with the goals and objectives of this department and Division.
