ITT Corporation Manager, Sales Operations in Seneca Falls, New York

Job Description:

Are you someone who has a passion for data mining and interpreting the story from that data to help support strategic business decisions?

The primary focus of this position will be to expand the use of data to support the sales organization and operations. Develop tools, reports, sales tools and methods that mine the existing data to better understand our markets and customers.

The role also acts as the primary systems contact for the Parts Customer Service team for EDI and ePrism support and enhancements. Providing value to our products associated with Parts, through the efforts of customer service and value added group. This would include further development and expansion of O/E process leveraging EDI / E-prism through automation enhancements.


Develop and monitor budgets and forecasting on a Global IP basis ($260m+)for IP Parts. This includes developing new analytic methods to detect trends, future demand and market size/share for parts.

Calculate and provide an audit trail for sales compensation justification on a quarterly basis in support of the HR requirements & financial accrual process.

Develop and maintain weekly / monthly reports for past and current sales statistics at the Sr Staff Level. Develop new reporting methods for the Sales Organization for Parts include the use of Dashboards and other automated methods.

Primary liaison for Customers, Customer Service & the Sales Organization as it related to electronic tools such as , SAP Ariba, EDI, & ePrism Support.

Provide monthly reports, exception reports & Adhoc reporting to Regional Sales Managers, Sales Engineers, Distributors and Market Managers as it relates to all aspects of the business. (Budgets, Forecasts, Actuals, Prior Year, Cost Movements, Product Categories and Markets)

Generate & maintain weekly, monthly measure & display data reflecting on key indicators that represent the performance and business stats for IP Parts

The main user contact for Eprism order entry maintenance, and testing from the users perspective. Support and enhance the Eprism order entry system, which generates $ 2 M in orders, entered each month. Expand Eprism to include pump order entry, and then direct customers’ entry.

Skills and Experience:

Education: BS Degree in Business, Data Science or related field with 4-5 years’ experience overall associated with sales & marketing. Understanding of customer buying habit(s) as well as customer business systems.


Experience: 10 – 15 year’s of business relative to product, technical application and information systems. This would include knowledge of industrial customers and distributor network. Overview of parts contract pricing.

Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

· Computer skills in all MS office products. High level proficiency in Access database mandatory.

· Strong Data Mining and Mathematic Skills

· Strong communication skills

· Strong knowledge of computer programs related to IP business

· Microsoft Excel & Access as well as relational database software.

· Administrative, organizational and technical writing skills.

· Problem solving, analytical skills required.
