The Industrial Process (IP) value center of ITT Inc. seeks an experienced Human Resource Business Partner to support our Goulds Pump Sales Team, ProService and C'Treat teams in Texas.
This position is responsible for providing coaching and guidance to managers on people management processes and issues, including performance management and general employee relations matters.
Provides HR leadership by supporting an extensive results oriented sales organization, a service & repair business, and a highly engineered manufacturing facility.
Provides counsel and guidance to employees and conducts fact findings as needed under supervision of HR leadership .
Supports both training delivery and talent acquisition activities.
Partners closely with the Sales force to resolve issues and provide direction that drives business value.
Fosters a high performing, results driven culture by being able to performance management and engage in disciplinary action when deemed appropriate.
Reviews trends and suggests recommended actions to ensure positive organizational changes and continued employee engagement.
Challenges the status quo and proactively identifies/develops solutions that positively impact the workforce.
Advises managers on general employee relations issues (e.g. discipline, coaching associates, performance management).
Supports activities related to driving engagement and sustaining a positive work environment Assists employees with the interpretation of Company policies and respond to inquiries, concerns and grievances.
Escalates more complex, sensitive or business-critical cases to the Regional Mgr, HRBP.
Addresses first line employee relations issues, complaints, and conducts investigations in order to move toward resolution.
Maintains related records and files.
Supports overall employee evaluation process and administration of progressive discipline/corrective actions as it relates to performance matters.
Works closely with cross-functional HR team to deliver key HR initiatives: Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance Management, Compensation planning, Engagement & Retention, Training & Development, and Succession Planning.
Collaborates with the HR Value Center Business Partners in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and programs related to employee relations.
Provides support to line managers using the methodology and tools provided by COE partners.
Provides a consistent customer experience to all stakeholders.
Supports business and HR decisions within the context of short term goals and objectives for the area/department supported Observe and support ESH policies and procedures, and encourage employees to be actively involved in safety and health efforts.
Responsible for routine HR metrics and report generation (headcount, attrition, etc.)

Human Resource Business Partner
Skills and Experience:
Minimum professional and educational background desired.
§ BS, BA or graduate degree preferred.
§ Minimum of 4 years of applicable human resource management experience in a related field in a similar organization.
§ Specific experience as a Human Resource Partner with a Sales Team preferred.
§ Understanding of key human resources areas including recruiting, performance management, employee development, employee relations, compensation & benefits.
§ Knowledge of commission/variable incentives compensation programs.
§ Able to adapt job activities methods or processes to satisfy changing requirements.
§ Practical experience of project management and knowledge of how to employ tools and technical expertise to perform successfully.
§ Experience and successful track record in investigating and resolving complex employee relations issues.
§ HRIS, Microsoft Office, Word/Excel and PowerPoint System Knowledge.
§ Implementation of Lean or other strategies to support effective working environment.
