ITT Corporation Quality Engineer II in Valencia, California
Candidate will support and implement quality systems requirements in design, supply chain management, manufacturing, assembly & test, and customer support for all product lines. The candidate will use strong problem solving skills to perform Root Cause analysis and communicate effective Corrective Action to the customer. Candidate will perform quality tasks such as non-conforming hardware disposition, quality system audits, product evaluations, process monitoring, supplied part problem resolution, data analysis and lead/participate in various process improvement initiatives. The candidate will be proactive in eliminating waste from existing operations and quality systems transactional processes, such as Scrap, Rework, and Warranty Returns.

Quality Engineer II
Skills and Experience:
Requires BSME or equivalent with 5+ years experience in Quality Assurance, Operations, Production or Design Engineering. Must have strong communication skills. Requires process and data analysis skills; Black/Green Belt, FMEA, PFMEA or other process improvement training or certification is a plus . Should have knowledge of QA principles and practices , manufacturing operations, and industrial/regulatory codes. Should be well versed in manufacturing practices such as MRP, material process flow, shop floor instruction generation, engineering document generation and release processes. Prior experience in design review, failure analysis, SPC, familiar with FAA regulations and AS9100 compliance is highly desirable. Proficiency on Microsoft Office applications is a must. Some domestic travel may be required. Must be able to work independently to develop and implement operational programs.
